Adam Caver has always been an artist. At the age of 22, he discovered the fine art of jewelry. After countless watercolor, sculpture, and ceramic classes, he took his first intro to jewelry, a class in the Fall of 2006 at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, Colorado. Then, after taking all the jewelry classes that the community college had to offer, he decided to study for and received the Applied Jewelry Arts Degree from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California. That was his first taste into the world of fine jewelry. After two and a half years of rigorous study and training he graduated with an AJA, Graduate Jeweler, Graduate Gemologist, and advanced stone setting degrees. In the fall of 2011, he moved his art studio and family to his present location in his hometown of Durango, Colorado. This new facility afforded him with the capabilities of being able to run a fully functioning studio with a staff. That was when all the magic started to happen. He was able now to take design to new place and created the first Crown Topper series, stemming from his fascination with hat bling, as he calls it. Now in the fall of 2013, and with the start of Caver Jewelry and Crown Bling, with websites being launched and ideas finally being manufactured, he is excited to see what the future holds and where his love for objects of art and jewelry will take him.
