Adam Caver
I've always been an artist, but my passion for jewelry design began at 22. After exploring watercolor, sculpture, and ceramics, I discovered jewelry-making at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, Colorado, in 2006. Eager to refine my craft, I pursued an Applied Jewelry Arts Degree from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California, also earning degrees as a Graduate Jeweler, Graduate Gemologist, and advanced stone setter.
By 2013, I officially launched Caver Jewelry and Crown Bling, turning my artistic vision into reality. I spent years honing my craft by taking secondary courses at GRS training center for hand engraving as well as learning to cut and polish gemstones. I was also doing all my own casting in house and not outsourcing any part of the project to another firm. Today running the gallery, I use two dedicated casting houses that work up to my standards to save time and money for me and my clients.
In March of 2025 I opened our flagship gallery at 1053 Main Avenue in downtown Durango. Since then, we have been very busy with custom jewelry, local mountain jewelry, as well as high end repairs.
Just recently I took an advanced watch engraving class from world famous engraver Jeff Parke to add to my list of engraving skills. To this day guns and watches are my favorite things to engrave. But my local mountain series with hand engraved stars are catching up on that list.
I continue to craft one-of-a-kind jewelry, blending fine artistry with expert craftsmanship. My mission is to create unique, meaningful pieces that reflect the personality and style of those who wear them.
I have currently been in the jewelry industry for 20 years and look forward to what's to come with this new experience of having a brick-and-mortar location on main.
